OUR PROCESS

Writing is where the thinking takes shape.

Begin with the reader

Decide who the piece is for and what they should understand when they finish. That decision gives you a way to choose what belongs in the draft and what can wait.

Draft, then change perspective

A working draft does not need to solve every problem at once. Once the argument is visible, review its order and missing explanations. Sentence editing is easier to direct when you know what each section needs to do.

Make a revision plan

Keep a short record of the changes that matter: a claim to verify, a passage to move, an example to replace. Our writing tools provide a place to make those decisions and return to them.
